Acer has dreamed up some astonishing PC gaming products in the past year or so, from the room-filling motorized Acer Predator Thronos gaming chair to the huge, wacky Predator Triton 900 convertible gaming laptop. The Taiwanese tech giant’s latest bold gaming rig is another laptop with a movable part that doesn’t typically move. This time, it’s the keyboard.
The entire keyboard deck of the Predator Helios 700, announced this week, slides forward to offer more fresh air to the cooling fans below. Other highlights include a 17.3-inch display with a fast 144Hz refresh rate, a 9th Generation Intel Core i9 CPU, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 graphics processor.
The Predator Helios 700 will be available this month starting at $2,699.
